Wave breaker for protecting marine solar foil uses foil skirt around peripheral edge of latter which is angled downwards for acting as artificial beach

The wave breaker is provided as an edge protection around the peripheral edge of the solar foil (11) floating on the surface of the sea and uses an uncoated foil which is angled downwards towards the sea bed for providing a skirt (4), acting as an artificial beach for breaking the waves. Inflated air pockets may be provided between the foil skirt and the solar foil, for holding the upper edge of the skirt above the sea surface.
