<p>A planar fastener having a high resistance to both tension force and shearing force, capable of being made using the same kind of base sheets, the relative binding direction of the two base sheets not being limited to one direction, so that the fastener has a wide range of applications. The planar fastener is a thin strong planar fastener that has two fastener members made of soft elastic material, each member comprising a base sheet, a bulge projection formed on the base sheet, and a projection receiving portion in the form of a recess in the surface of the base sheet provided with the bulge projection, the members being capable of being bound without forming an engagement layer.</p> |
