PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a conventional magnetoelectric conversion device in sensitivity. SOLUTION: A magnetic conversion film 3 is sandwiched between two magnetic material boards 1 and 2, which are 10 or higher in relative magnetic permeability for the formation of a magnetoelectric conversion device 10, where at least either the magnetic material board 1 or the magnetic material board 2 is formed of single crystal, and the magnetoelectric conversion film 3 is epitaxially grown on the single crystal board. With this setup, a magnetoelectric conversion device which is enhanced further in magnetic field sensitivity than normal can be provided and made very conductive to a size reduction and performance enhancement of an electronic equipment.
