FIXED CONTACT FOR BREAKER ARC-SUPPRESSING PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fixed contact for a breaker arc-suppressing part which allows speeding-up of a contact opening speed and allowing elongation of an arc length occurring at the time of opening to allow improvement of breaking performance. SOLUTION: This fixed contact 100 for a breaker arc-suppressing part has a main body (30), projectingly formed with a contact 10 on its bottom contact face 11 for contacting with an external moving contact 20, and an insulating part 40 provided in inner side faces of the main body (30) along the moving track of the moving contact 20 at opening, for maintaining insulation between both the contacts 100, 20 during the opening. One side end of the contact face 11 of the main body (30) is projectingly formed with a side face such that a space is secured along the moving track of the moving contact 20, while the side face has a repeatedly bent part at prescribed distances from the contact face 11.
