PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of an engagement failure between a hanging release mechanism and commodity hanging members attached to an endless chain and to carry out a commodity without hindrance by providing a tensile force adjustment mechanism for an endless chain. SOLUTION: Plural commodity hanging members are attached while they are mutually separated in prescribed intervals. A sprocket 1a engaging with one edge of endless chain is fixed to a cylindrical shaft member 10. A maintenance personnel periodically loosens screws 12 to push movable plates 11a and 11b in the direction that they are pushed away from the other sprocket. Because long holes 11a1 and 11b1 are formed on the plates 11a and 11b and log holes 4e1' and 4e2' are formed on the side walls 4e1 and 4e2 of a casing, the sprocket 1a moves in the direction that it moves away from the other sprocket to increase the tensile force of the endless chain. The maintenance personnel fastens the screws 12 in this state and fixes the plates 11a and 11b. Consequently, the endless chain is prevented from loosening with time.
