PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously print even a document comprising vertically long pages and horizontally long pages by allocating pages on one medium. SOLUTION: A graphic device interface 3 receives drawing data for printing the document. An image generating process part 4a converts the image data to generate image data that a printer can print. A pair of pages in the document are allocated to print areas on one printing medium, respectively. The image data of one of a pair of pages when transferred to a printer in the array as they are can not be printed in the correct direction in a print area allocated on the printing medium. An array converting process part 4b converts the data array of the image data of the page. A print data editing part 5 stored the print data in the proper data array according to the allocation positions of respective pages.
