Aqueous extracts are prepared by suspending separate net bags containing (a) vegetables, (b) herbs and (c) meat, fat and/or bones in water for at least 10 h. Process for preparing an aqueous extract of mainly biological raw materials in an amount of at least 50 l, comprises charging (a) vegetables, (b) herbs and (c) meat, fat and/or bones into separate nets and contacting the nets with water and allowing the mixture to infuse for at least 10 h.
