PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coding system with a comparatively large range despite a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The optical coding system is provided with a data transmission device including at least one laser transmitter and at least one laser receiver, the laser transmitter has a laser device and a code generator and the laser receiver has a detection device and an evaluation circuit. The detection device is configured to detect a burst train (B1, B2, B3,...) where the length (d) of a single burst pulse is 40 ns or over and the length D of a single burst consisting of (b) pulses is 1000 μs or below. |
