摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate influence by the ruggedness of the edge of a photoreceptor belt even when the moving speed of the belt is made high by outputting a belt moving counted value and a belt moving polarity signal which correspond to the change amount of a counted value when the counted value is changed to be equal to or above a certain set counted value within a fixed time. SOLUTION: A belt edge detection signal width counter circuit 7 counts the effective width of a belt edge detection signal by a reference clock and outputs the counted value as a counted value before correction. A counted value comparator circuit 8 compares the counted value before correction with the counted value after correction and outputs the compared result as a compared result signal. At such a time, a belt moving correction control circuit 11 counts the effective width of the belt edge detection signal by the reference clock. In such a case, when the counted value is changed to be equal to or above a certain set counted value within the fixed time, the belt moving counted value and the belt moving polarity signal expressing the moving direction of the belt which correspond to the change amount are outputted.
