PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize throughput between the duplexed storages and to improve the duplexing efficiency. SOLUTION: Main and subordinate storage areas are allocated to the different storage according to the addresses. The RSC 33 and 34 of processors 3 and 4 determine the main and subordinate storages according to the request addresses. A write request is sent to both main and subordinate storages, respectively, and a readout request is sent to the main storage only. The request extraction units 17 and 27 of storages 1 and 2 extract the main write requests and transmit the extraction signals to each other via the signals 12 and 22. Receiving the extraction signal, one of both units 17 and 27 extracts the subordinate write request of the other unit. |
