<p>A process which comprises subjecting a reaction mixture containing a hydroquinone diester derivative represented by formula (1) (wherein R?1 and R2¿ are the same or different and each represents alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, or a heterocyclic group) to crystallisation and washing the resultant crystals. The crystallization is conducted in a solvent comprising an organic carboxylic acid and water, and the crystals are washed with warm water having a temperature of 40°C or higher. In formula (1), R?1 and R2¿ is C¿1-4? alkyl.</p> |
