MANUFACTURED POUR SPOUT FITMENT AND CONTAINER

A spout (42), especially suitable for a heavy duty liquid detergent containe r fitment (28), is made for thermoforming. Preferably the spout (42) is part o f a fitment (28) which includes a bottom wall (36) extending from the bottom o f the spout wall, a circumscribing wall (32) surrounding the spout (42) and extending from the bottom of the bottom wall (36) and a peripheral radially extending flange (34) extending from the top of the circumscribing wall (32) . The thermoformed spout/fitment (28) finds special use in plastic containers (16) having inside blown threads (26). The inside blown threads (26) mate wi th external threads (56) on a closure (14).
