MULTI-LAYER FILM WITH ENHANCED LAMINATION BOND STRENGTH

A laminated film structure that includes a primary web having migratory additive in the first outer layer (110) and as second outer layer (130) comprising a single site catalyzed polyethylene, such as one made by a metallocene catalysis. The second outer layer can be laminated to the surface of a second web (200) without the need for treating the surface of the second outer layer with a primer or solvent. The primary web, further includes a core substrate (120) layer disposed between the two outer layers, such as biaxially oriented polypropylene layer. The resulting structures have improved bond strength between the primary web and the secondary web.
