The addition of 0.1-1 wt. % propylene carbonate to liquid abrasive cleaning agent compositions containing a relatively high proportion of mineral abrasive agents and bentonite gives a storage stable, easily flowing, milky dispersion which can be bottled easily. A liquid scouring agent comprises at least one finely divided abrasive material; surfactants selected from alkyl polyglycosides and/or alkane sulfates, alkane sulfonates, alkylether sulfonates and laurylbenzene sulfate; bentonite; perfume; preservative and water, with an addition of 0.1-1 wt. % propylene carbonate.
