A tag assembly comprises a flat case 2 with a receiving space 22, disposed between upper and lower walls 24, 25, for receiving a writable tag 3 via an opening 21 in a side wall 20, the upper and lower walls 24, 25 each having a hole 240, 250 which align with each other and the hole 33 of the inserted writable tag. A string 4 may be passed through the aligned holes 33, 240, 250 for attachment of the assembly to an item such as baggage. The assembly may further comprise a sleeve (23, fig.5), with outwardly projecting upper and lower flanges (232, 233, fig.5) which passes through the aligned holes 33, 240, 250. The hole 33 may take the form of an open c-shaped notch (341, fig.5) for turnable and releasable disposition round the sleeve (23, fig.5). An additional string hole may be provided through another portion of the side wall (235, fig.6 & fig.8) through which an additional string may be threaded (42, fig. 11). An indentation (241, fig.6) may be provided immediately adjacent the opening 21 to expose a portion of the writable tag 3. |
