The loading shelf (10) comprises a lifting support structure for raising and lowering a load and for closing a storage area of the vehicle. The shelf is rotatably fixed through an eye element (12) fixed on the shelf by a support element (11) made from an Fe-material or Fe-material alloy. The support element and eye element (12) can be formed in one piece. The support element can have in cross-section a straight shaped part (15) extending the surface of the shelf as well as a prismatic part (16) engaging under the underneath face (14) of the shelf.
