A magazine locking/ejecting apparatus capable of easily ejecting a magazine of a compact disk (CD) changer is provided. The magazine locking/ejecting apparatus includes a font-and-rear sliding member installed on a top wall of a magazine portion and an elastic latch having a projection hinged to a bottom wall of the magazine portion and linked with a latch groove of the magazine and a manual eject knob integrally extending from one side of the elastic latch. The front-and-rear sliding member slides back and forth along the top wall of the magazine portion and is biased to the front of the magazine portion all the time by a pair of torsion springs. The elastic latch is hinged by a hinge bar, a coil spring is wound around the hinge bar, a first end thereof being supported to one side of the leg portion and a second end thereof being supported to a predetermined position of the bottom wall of the magazine portion so as to bias the elastic latch. The elastic latch rotates when the manual eject knob is moved manually. If the magazine locking/ejecting apparatus is employed to a CD changer, the configuration of the magazine portion is simplified and a magazine can be easily ejected manually. |
