<p>An electrophotographic apparatus and method for use in a printer, facsimile, etc., comprising electrostatic developing units arranged in a record paper conveyance direction, which form dot latent images in conformity with image dot data (116) by scanning a light beam over a rotating photosensitive drum (32), and after developing by toner components, transfer dots onto record paper for development.
