The main layer (12) of a sealing sheet, e.g. of bitumen or elastomer-bitumen, is covered on one side by a material (14) of lower melting point, e.g. 100-120 deg C compared with over 180 deg C. The material (14) is applied at preferably 5-10 g/m<2>, and has similar or slightly greater thermal conductivity than the main layer (12). Independent claims are also included for the use of a carrier layer, e.g. nonwoven, film, fabric, for the material (14) and the process of applying the material (14) by printing, dipping, or spraying.
