The musical instrument consists of a first sub-assembly (2) on a stand (5), having a keyboard (8), reeds and valves, and a second sub-assembly (3) in the form of bellows (30) located beneath the keyboard so that the player can operate them by squeezing the bellows between his legs. The bellows have flat rigid side walls (32) with fastenings (33) e.g. of Velcro (RTM) for the legs, and are connected to the first sub-assembly by a pipe (4).
