Tolerance-compensation for a power transmitting connection between a handle and a lock trigger

A Bowden cable connects the handle to the operating lever on the lock side. The operating lever has two lever parts (1, 2) which can swivel relative to each other about a swivel axis (8). The first lever part designed to connect with the lock operating lever is associated with a first spring (5) which biases it towards a stop (6) fixed on the lock whilst a second spring (10) producing a smaller torque than the first is set between the two lever parts so that it biases the second lever part as the handle is moved away when the two lever parts are prevented from swivelling when their force-connection is made through a lock (13) having a locking pin (14) on one of the lever parts and a curved oblong hole (15) in the other lever part through which the locking pin (14) is passed.
