According to the present road traffic control method by employing transmission of special signals, particularly in transmission traffic system intended for bearing and determining position of vehicles first a bearing and determination of position of a rightful vehicle (1) is carried out after transmission of a special signal by the rightful vehicle (1) and after bearing and determination of position of the rightful vehicle (1) is carried out, an evaluation of received information and determination of operational area of the rightful vehicle (1) takes place. A signal containing information about a distance or change in distance of determined vehicles (8) from the rightful vehicle (1) is then transmitted to the determined vehicles (8) being present within operational area of the rightful vehicle (1). When employing the invented road traffic control method the communication itself proceeds in such a manner that a satellite receiver (2) obtaining signals from navigation satellites (3, 4, 5) mediates for the traffic control central (6) information about position of the rightful vehicle (1). This traffic control central (6) evaluated the received information and makes up from them blocks of information data about operational area and movement of the rightful vehicle (1) and transfers them to a broadcasting transmitter (7) that transmits such information through an independent channel or through a channel of information services to receivers (9) of the determined vehicles (8).
