摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high shape accuracy as well as to correct shape strain of a rolled plate more quickly in comparison with a conventional shape controlling method for the rolled plate. SOLUTION: The plate shape of a rolled material is detected by means of a plate shape detector 39 provided on the exit side of a rolling mill, and shape deviation, difference from the target shape of the rolled material, is determined. The shape deviation, after mechanical actuators such as work roll bender and a reduction leveling are operated on the basis of the shape deviation, is estimated, and the optimum manipulation variables of the mechanical actuator are determined by means of the shape evaluating function to evaluate the estimated shape deviation. Then, residual shape deviation, after the mechanical actuators are operated on the basis of the optimum manipulation variables, is determined, thereby making coolant control for the residual shape deviation portion.</p>
