PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for new disk bodies which is capable of efficiently cleaning foreign matters, etc., sticking to the disk bodies. SOLUTION: The cleaning device is provided with a cleaning tank 2, which cleans the disk bodies C, a transporting path 6, which successively carries the disk bodies C at least into the cleaning tank 2 and successively carries the disk bodies C away from the cleaning tank 2, and a transferring means 15, which successively transfers the disk bodies C in the transporting path 6 in the transporting direction. The transporting path 6 is continuously formed in the helical shape at least in the range from the position of carrying into the cleaning tank 2 to the position of carrying away from the cleaning tank 2.
