PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic capable of providing a greasy feeling at the time of coating, and smooth feeling and excellent sense of use at the time of rinse, capable of making the hair soft and flexible, excellent in activities for imparting moist and damp finished feeling to hair, and keeping the hair healthy state continuously. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic contains (A) 0.1-20 wt.% one or more kinds represented by the formula [at least two of R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each a 22C alkyl group, and the remainder thereof is a group selected from a 1-3C alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, and benzyl group; X is a halogen atom or an alkyl sulfate group], and selected from DI-long chain alkyl quaternary ammonium salts having at least two 22C alkyl groups in the molecular, (B) 0.1-20 wt.% higher alcohol and (C) 0.1-50 wt.% silicone oil having >=10,000 cSt viscosity at 25 deg.C.
