PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable construction works while the entire wooden building being covered to thereby protect lumbers from wind and rain, and to facilitate carrying-in of the lumbers by means of a crane. SOLUTION: A construction site covering apparatus is obtained in the following manner. First, foundations 3 are arranged around a building in a manner enclosing the same, then a strut 4 formed of a steel frame is erected on each foundation 3, and a ridge 7 and beams 8 are horizontally installed on the struts in a manner forming a gable roof. Then, guide rails 12 are attached to side surfaces of the ridge 7, and a guide rail 13 is arranged on the upper surface of each beam 8 in parallel with the side surface, followed by slantingly disposing a plurality of mobile portions 14 in parallel with each other between the ridge 7 and each beam 8. Each mobile portion 14 has rollers 15, 16 attached to both edges thereof, which runs through the respective guide rails 12, 13. These adjacent mobile portions 14 are connected to each other by a sheet 20 and connecting wires, and pulleys are provided to each of the ridge 7 and the beams 8, followed by wrap-connecting the pulleys by respective carrying wires. Then, each carrying wire is linked to one of the plurality of mobile portions 14 which is arranged at the edge side thereof, whereby the sheet 20 is installed in an openable manner.
