PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing bait container capable of quickly charging baits in a fishing basket without touching the baits with a hand. SOLUTION: This fishing bait container is obtained by forming and disposing a bait basket passage 3 capable of passing the bait basket 9 therethrough toward the bottom of a bait-receiving portion 2, disposing a valve 5 between the bait basket passage 3 and the bait-receiving portion 2, and further forming a fishing line-passing portion from the upper end of the bait basket passage 3 to the valve. The valve 5 is always closed, but can pass the whole body of the bait basket 9, when pushing the bait basket 9.
