PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect overload of a mulching mower by reducing a stagnation of cut grass between a cutting blade for shredding and a mower deck. SOLUTION: In this mulching mower, a blade 16 of a mulching mower surrounding the periphery of the cutting blade 16 rotating in a mower deck 13 with a guiding body 18 is constituted of a longer blade 16a and a shorter blade 16b and those are supported by a rotation axis 17 with shifting phases in the rotating direction. The shorter blade which strikes grasses cut by the longer blade 16a downward while shredding is formed to gradually approach to the deck from the supported position by the axis to the periphery, thus a shredding space inside of a pot-like locus is widely ensured. A connecting part of the shorter blade 16b to the axis is brought to be lower as possible by supporting the longer blade 16a in the lower position and the shorter blade 16b in the upper position to the rotative axis 17 and bringing the height of the longer blade 16a in the lower position to almost the same height of the lower edge of the guide.
