PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device for a wall surface capable of moving a joint device without generating clearance in a joint part by following the swinging movement even if left/right buildings largely swingingly move in the longitudinal/lateral direction by an earthquake and capable of improving a beautiful appearance in bilateral symmetry in an ordinary arranging state. SOLUTION: A joint device for a wall surface has at least two or more central maintaining link mechanisms 7 rotatably installed on left/right installing metal fittings 4 of a building 3, and is composed of a central joint plate 9 pivoted on a central pivot part of at least the two or more central maintaining link mechanisms 7, left/right joint plates 10 being formed so as to push up the central joint plate 9 and having rear end parts rotatably installed in the longitudinal direction on the left/right installing meta fittings 4, left/right cover plates 11 being locked on a part close to tip parts of the left/right joint plates 10 and slidingly moving in the lateral direction on the central joint plate according to a lateral directional movement of the left/right joint plates and a central cover plate 12 installed on the central joint plate 9 so as to cover the left/right cover plates 11.
