PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollution-diffusion preventive device for a burying machine, by which a pollution diffusion can be prevented even in a sea area having a fast tidal current and in case of stormy weather while burying is carried out at the performance velocity of the burying machine, an occupied area can be reduced and operating efficiency can also be improved. SOLUTION: The burying machine 10 excavates the bottom of water 20 to form a burying ditch 24, and a cable is buried into the burying ditch 24 and the cable is laid on the bottom of water 20. A suction pump section 26 sucking polluted water for preventing a diffusion into water of polluted water generated when soil and sand and mud depositing on the bottom of water 20 are blown off by a water jetting in case of water-jetting excavation is installed.
