MASKING DEVICE FOR SURFACE TREATMENT OF CYLINDER BLOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking device for surface treatment of a cylinder block which can be adopted even to the cylinder block having a journal part without the occurrence of defect, such as a difference in level of plating films and plating scorching, on the surface of a cylinder bore. SOLUTION: This device has a crank case part rear surface sealing jig 40 for masking the rear surface of a crank case part 4 and the crank case part flank masking jig 41 for masking the blank 4b of the crank case part 4. The device is so constituted that the apertures at the rear surface and flank 4b of the crank case part 4 are masked by both of these masking jig 40 and 41.
