PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a glaze layer or printing layer formed on the surface of a tile or the like as it is to hold a photocatalyst layer. SOLUTION: The glaze layer 2 being a material hardly decomposable by photocatalytic action due to photocatalyst particles is applied to the surface of a tile substrate 1 being a plate-like member constituting a wall surface, a floor surface or a ceiling surface (drawing a) and anatase type TiO2 particles 3 as photocatalyst particles are sprayed on the surface of the glaze layer 2 in a sol state by using a sprayer (drawing b) and, subsequently, the glaze layer 2 is heated and melted and subsequently cooled to be solidified.
