PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a driving force in a large state or exchange the driving force into the large state in failure time of a brake hydraulic holding device, and prevent backing of a vehicle in car start on a grade, by prohibiting actuation of a driving force reducing device when a failure detecting device detects a failure of the brake hydraulic holding device. SOLUTION: A motor 2 for constituting a prime mover together with an engine 1 is controlled by a MOTECU 5 based on a control signal from an F1/MGECU 4. A CVTECU 6 controls a gear ratio of a CVT 3, namely a transmission, and an engagement force of a starting clutch, and controls opening/ closing of a solenoid valve of a brake hydraulic holding device RU. When a failure detecting device DU provided for the CVTECU 6 detects a failure of the brake hydraulic holding device RU, reduction of a driving force by a driving force reducing device composing the CVT 3 and the CVTECU 6 is prohibited until the failure is resolved, and if a weak creep state exists, the weak creep state is controlled to a strong creep state. |
