PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire maintaining excellent wet performance enabled by silica, reducing the electrical resistance of the tire effectively, and to exhibit these characteristics stably from the start of application to the limit of wear. SOLUTION: Tread rubber includes a main treat rubber part made of insulating rubber material reinforced by silica, and outer conductive parts 9b formed by conductive rubber material forming a grounding surface in combination with the main treat rubber part, and ending at a distance of 4 to 15% of the contact width TW measured outwardly along the tire axis from the end edge of the grounding surface. The outer conductive parts 9b form sheets with thickness of 0.01 to 1.0 mm exposed to the tread outer surface including the groove wall and the groove bottom of crosswise grooves, and continues in the circumferential direction of the tire. The outer conductive parts 9b form a conductive passage to a rim through conductive wing rubber, sidewall rubber, and clinch rubber. |
