PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently purifying an electroplating soln. and a purification device for smoothly performing the method. SOLUTION: An anode 2 set in a plating bath 1 is held in a filter bag 3, a plating soln. is sucked from the inside of the bag 3, fitered and then returned to the bath 1 except the bag 3. As a result, a suction box 30 having a suction port 31 at the upper face is furnished to the inner bottom of the bag 3 in the plating bath 1, the anode 2 is held in the bag, the lower end of a suction pipe 4 is communicated with the suction box 30, a discharge nozzle 5 is set at the part other than the inside of the bag 3 in the plating bath 1, and the suction pipe 4 is communicated with the discharge nozzle 5 by a circulating pipeline 6 having a filter 60 and a pump 61.
