PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch and remove dust floating inside a display chamber by means of electric dust collecting device and also to remarkably improve a display environment in the sanitary aspect of food by arranging the electric dust collecting device in the display chamber in a food displaying device for displaying food in an exposure state in the chamber. SOLUTION: When a high voltage is applied on the electrodes 11 and 12 of the electric dust collecting device 14, dust in the display chamber 5 passes through a ventilation port 10 formed in a cover 9 and reaches the upper part of the electrode 12 by an ascending air current by warmth heated by heated food B which is placed on a shelf 6. Dust arrived at the electrode 12 is charged by the electrode 12 and, then, attracted by the electrode 11 which is charged by the opposite polarity of the electrode 12. Dust adhered to the electrode 12 passes through a passage formed in the electrode 12 and moves to the upper part of the electrode 11. Then dust moved upward is caught by a dust collecting filter 13 which is attached on the lower surface of the electrode 11.
