PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide macro-cell impregnated composite materials of a micro and uniform three dimensional continuous network skeleton structure excellent in mechanical strength and chemical resistance and capable of stably having a large amount of various functional materials, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Micro-cell impregnated composite materials can be obtained by crosslinking a composition obtained by mixing a composition comprising (A) 20-100 pts.wt. epoxy modified block copolymer of a block copolymer composed of a polymer block based on a vinyl aromatic compound and a polymer block based on a conjugated diene compound, (B) 0-50 pts.wt. crosslinking agent having a functional group capable of reacting with epoxy groups, (C) 0.1-10 pts.wt. curing catalyst or curing accelerator which promotes curing reaction, and (D) 0-50 pts.wt. inorganic filler with (E) a low- molecular material, then removing the low-molecular material (E), and allowing the resulting microporous material constituted of a three dimensional continuous network structure having an average pore diameter of the skeleton of not greater than 20μm and an average diameter of the cell of not greater than 100μm to include (G) a liquid or solid functional material at normal temperatures.
