PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide outsoles of shoes which have excellent nonslip properties even when the shoes are used at the time of a wet state of a foothold at the foothold, such as a rocky stretch, where ruggedness is intensive. SOLUTION: An outsole 100 is manufactured by kneading base material rubber containing 70 to 100 wt.% styrene butadiene rubber of >=-33 deg.C to <=-10 deg.C in glass transition temperature (Tg), a vulcanizer and various kinds of compounding agent to be compounded at need, molding the kneaded mixture by injection molding and press forming and simultaneously vulcanizing the rubber. The bonding styrene amount of the styrene butadiene rubber is 15 to 25 wt.% and the bonding vinyl amount thereof is 35 to 70 wt.%. The loss coefficient (tanδ) at -10 deg.C of the outsole 100 is larger than 0.26 and #1.5 and the complex elastic modulus (E*) thereof is larger than 150 kgf/cm2 and <=750 kgf/cm2.
