PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operational efficiency at the printing by a method wherein a virtual-document capable of controlling of the entire printing is formed when printing a document including plural kinds of pieces of data such as document data, presentation material data and drawing data and a printing page layout for the virtual-document is made to be editable. SOLUTION: A computer system 1 executes editing of a printing page layout with respect to a virtual-document and sets a size and an orientation of a paper to be printed. When the paper is of a fixed size, a piece of page data having different size information in the virtual-document is automatically contracted or expanded, then the printing is entirely performed. When a setting page connection as the page layout to be 'true', the piece of page data different from the orientation of the printing paper is contracted. When the plural pieces of page data are adjacent, the pieces of page data are combined to be printed as a set of upper and lower sections or a set of right and left columns. |
