PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for a sliding roof using an organic glass plate capable of discharging outside the weather strip foreign matters intruding into a gap between the weather strip and the organic glass plate. SOLUTION: A sliding roof 11 consists of an organic glass plate 12, a weather strip 13 and a slide panel 14. A cover lip part 19 presses a peripheral upper part of the organic glass plate 12 and is adhered closely to it. A gap S absorbing an elongation of the organic glass plate 12 when it thermally deforms is provided between the weather strip 13 and an outer peripheral edge face of the organic glass plate 12. Pipes 22 are provided at each corner parts of the weather strip 13. The pipes 22 communicates the gap S with a bottom part of the sliding roof 11. When foreign matters such as refuse, water and mud enter into the gap S from an abutting part of the cover lip part 19 on the organic glass plate 12, the foreign matters are discharged outside the weather strip 13 from the gap S through the pipes 22. |
