PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material, which has excellent coloring property even when a gelatin is used as a binder in the coating liquid of the heat sensitive recording material and is excellent in an image keeping quality. SOLUTION: This heat sensitive recording material is produced by having a heat sensitive recording layer includes at least microcapsules each containing a coloring agent, a developer emulsion, a gelatin-containing binder and a water- soluble transition metal salt, on a support. A preferable embodiment of the water-soluble transition metal salt includes at least one selected from the group consisting of zinc, molybdenum, tungsten and chromium. |
