The present invention relates to an electrical machine comprising one ore several stators (20) edified by one or several statorpackages (21) that consists of one or several statorsections (22). The core (23) of the statorpackage is arranged to cooperate with a coil (24) which winding axis is parallel to the rotary axis (2) of the machine to obtain axially directed magnetic flux. Further, the machine comprises one or several rotordiscs (11) that are arranged on the rotary axis (2). The electrical machine according to the present application is in one embodiment provided with a ring-shaped statorwinding with large cross section area and small diameter which minimises the power losses and facilitates cooling. Large cross section area and consequently many ampere-turns will result in high effect per weight and volume unit for the machine. |
