PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fuel consumption for a pilot burner for burning a pilot flame all the time, and to surely re-fire a main burner even when a flame of the main burner is gone out for an instant. SOLUTION: In this roaster, a water reservoir 4 is provided inside a pot 2 put into a central part of a table, and a main burner 8 is arranged in a central part of the reservoir 4. A cylindrical horizontal tube 15 is arranged to open its one end in the vicinity of a burning part 6 of the main burner 8 and to open the other end in an outside of the reservoir 4. When a flame of the main burner 8 is gone out accidentally to continue discharge of a fuel gas G1 from the burning part 6, one part of the fuel gas G1 flows from an opening 16 in one end side of the horizontal tube 15 to an opening 17 in its other end side and a pilot flame G2 of a pilot burner 18 installed in the other end side is constituted to be prevented from reaching the opening 17 in the other end side.
