PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent which is small in dimensional change in a longitudinal direction at the time of dilation, has high flexibility, has an improved delivery characteristic at the time of insertion and can be indwelt in the curving part of a blood vessel and indwelt in a peripheral part. SOLUTION: The stent 1 which is formed to an approximately tubular form and is expandable in a radial direction from the inside of the tubular body is constituted by plurally arraying one set of component elements 2, which are constituted by connecting another component elements 6 of an approximately wave shape, one above the other, via left junctures 3A and right junctures 3B laterally offset from a central line C of annular units 4 above and below the component elements 6 of the approximately wave shape, so as to encircle the central axis of the stent 1 to constitute the annular units 4, extending the plural annular units 4 in the axial direction of the stent 1 and connecting the annular units 4 to each other at least one point by connecting parts. |
