PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and lightweight compressor control apparatus capable of operating a compressor with optimum efficiency. SOLUTION: Input power source is rectified and boosted in a converter 3 and then converted to AC power source in an inverter 5 to be supplied to a three-phase induction motor 6 driving a compressor. A processing cirucit 11 sets a frequency instruction value (f) based on pressure in a tank sensed by a pressure sensor 21. At that time, the frequency instruction value (f) is set depending on an operating mode set by an operating mode setting means. Further, a voltage instruction value (v) is set according to the frequency instruction value (f). A control signal is output to the inverter 5 so that frequency and voltage of the AC power source output from the inverter 5 becomes equal to the frequency instruction value (f) and voltage instruction value (v), respectively. When an input current from an input current detecting circuit 22 exceeds a set current, correction is executed to decrease the frequency instruction value (f) and voltage instruction value (v). |
