PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition excellent in foamability and useful as a raw material of a cushioning material and the like by admixing in a specific ratio two kinds of ethylene-based copolymers having specific characteristics obtained from ethylene and anα-olefin. SOLUTION: Two kinds of linear ethylene-α-olefin copolymers A and B each comprising ethylene and 3-12Cα-olefin are admixed in a ratio of the component A to the component B of 1-30 wt % to 99-70 wt % to give an ethylene- based resin composition. The component A has a density of at least 0.940 g/cm3, an MFR of 2-20 g/10 min and a ratio of a weight average mol.wt. Mw to a number average mol.wt. Mn (Mw/Mn) of 3 or less measured by GPC. The component B has an Mw/Mn of 3 or less, a density of 0.850-0.920 g/cm3, an MFR of 0.5-10 g/10 min, a slope S of the storage elastic modulus G' of 0.7<S<0.9 in the frequency range from fc (the frequency where G' coincides with the loss modulus G") to fc/10 and an activation energy of flowΔH, obtained at a temperature range from 160-220 deg.C, of 35-50 kJ/mol.
