PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Cu plated electroseamed steel pipe superior in external appearance, brazing property, airtightness property at a brazing part, corrosion resistivity, workability and the like by restoring a bead cut part having no Cu plating layer with spraying Cu. SOLUTION: A Cu plated steel belt is cylindrically formed with a forming roll group, and plate width direction both end parts are butted. After the plate width direction both ends being abutted are electroseam welded, the welding beads formed on the outer surface of an electroseamed steel pipe thus obtained are cut and removed. Then, Cu is sprayed continuously to the bead cut part so as to form a remedy layer in thickness of 10μm or more. When Cu is sprayed, it is preferable that the bead cut part temperature is held within a range of 150-500 deg.C. By grinding a sprayed surface of the bead cut part and its neighborhood after the remedy layer is formed, an outer surface of the sprayed layer is smoothened, and the Cu sprayed grains being inferior in adhesivity are removed.
