摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise rigidity of the arm of a positioning robot without introducing a large-size robot and to prevent flexure to be caused in the arm. SOLUTION: An arm mechanism of a positioning robot is provided with an arm 10 of which one end is supported at a fixed distance from the surface 110 of a fixing member 100, and an assist member 12 connected to the arm 10 to move integrally with the arm. As one end of the assist member 12 comes in contact with the surface 110 of the fixing member 100 so that it can slidable and when a force is acted on the arm 10, the arm 10 is prevented from causing flexure on it.
