PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of electrolysis by efficiently removing bubbles from an electrode plate surface without intermitting takeouts of acidic water and alkaline water from an electrolytic water production device, and to provide a method for preventing sticking of metallic ions such as Ca and Mg, on the electrode plate surface. SOLUTION: In this method for preventing sticking of bubbles on the electrode plate surface of the electrolytic water production device, sticking of bubbles on the electrode plate surface, is prevented by inverting + and-of the electrode for a short time with a specified time interval during the power is supplied on the electrodes of the electrolytic water production device. During the power is supplied on the electrodes of the electrolytic water production device, 1/10-7/10 electric current with respect to the electric current impressed when the electrolysis is performed by being inverted + and-of the electrode for a short time with a specified interval, is impressed, thus the sticking of bubbles on the electrode plate surface is prevented.
