PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support guide type cicada larva-catching device capable of catching many cicada larvae generated in a net-using fruit culture garden in a transparent preserve container combined with a support by the utilization of the habit of the cicada larvae which climb trees for their exuviation. SOLUTION: This support guide type cicada larva-catching device comprises a transparent preserve container body 2 having a guide support insertion hole 3 in the upper portion, a throwing opening 10 in the upper side portion, and an escape-preventing cylinder 4 whose bottom surface 4a is opened and which is vertically disposed at the center of the inner bottom surface, and a guide support 5 inserted from the insertion hole 3 to the outside of the bottom surface 4a of the escape-preventing cylinder 4. Therein, the guide support 5 is fixed to the upper edge of the insertion hole 3, and the lower portion of the guide support 5 projected from the bottom surface 4a of the escape-preventing cylinder 4 is formed on a member which is inserted into the ground.
